Visitor’s Center & Chamber of Commerce

The Dickenson County Chamber of Commerce's motto is "Building the future, preserving the Past". The Dickenson County Virginia Chamber of Commerce exists for the purpose of advancing and publicizing the commercial, industrial, agricultural, civic, tourism and general business interests of Dickenson County. The chamber of commerce is a membership organization run by a board of directors.

Basic driving directions

From Pound- Turn right onto Dickenson Highway (St. Route83 ) When entering Clintwood, turn left at 2nd red light , Visitor's Center approximately 2 blocks on Right at 194 Clintwood Main Street across from Clintwood Baptist Church. From Abingdon- Travel on Route 58 to Norton, turn on Route 23 toward Pound, in Pound turn right onto Dickenson Highway In Clintwood, 2nd red light turn Left toward town. Visitor's Center on right across from Clintwood Baptist Church at 194 Clintwood Main St.

The Visitor's Center, located in the Old Doc Phipps home built in 1905 consists of the Tourism Department and the Dickenson Chamber of Commerce. A large selection of brochures, county maps, post cards and other information are available for the visitor including information on businesses, as well as places for dining and lodging.
