Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the county administrator is the chief administrative officer of the county and is responsible for the implementation and execution of policies established by the board. In addition to daily administrative duties, the county administrator is also responsible for the development of the annual budget, recommends service delivery and policy implementation, provides an operational framework under which county employees work, and ensures that all affairs of the county are carried out in an effective and responsible manner.
Purpose
